Montecito approached us in 2021 with two problems:
- Low organic visibility.
- The need to generate more CRM leads among property owners and managers from their USA-focused website.
- Web Audit & Analysis of Objectives
We did an SEO site audit to analyse the website and overall user journey.
We identified SEO issues in accordance with Google Webmaster guidelines, which were reported to Montecito’s internal web development team to rectify.
- Keyword Research
We performed SEO keyword research to identify:
• Keywords the client ranked for and those that drove impressions
• The keywords they needed to rank for
• Their position relative to their market
- Content Analysis & Creation
We did a content gap analysis to identify topics that visitors would be interested in. We recommended content to be created around those topics, using priority keywords and focus personas.
- Internal Linking
To pass over authority to the new SEO-focused pages, we created an internal linking structure that would enhance the site’s SEO.
- On-going Observation & Optimisation
From the data collected, we identified where optimisations were still needed on the new web pages. We also identified other pages with priority keywords that needed to be optimised.
The website’s visibility in organic search increased from 9% in the USA, across multiple search engines, to a visibility of 59% across all search engines in the USA.
Their overall leads increased from a conversion rate of 0.24% to 4.2% in 2022 – equaling a 1650% increase.
